Our Tree - Time-Lapse Mini Movie

Recently we have removed a 30m tall Australian Red Gum tree. We loved this tree as it provided pleasant shade for the setting sun. However, the arborist confirmed that our tree has developed pathogenic fungi. Normally trees have self-healing mechanisms with surface of the trunk grow over the wounds and form a bulge to prevent it from getting worse. Unfortunately it has failed. The tree lopper took 2 days to chop it into pieces. I have set my camera on time-lapse of 1 minute apart. This mini movie is a composite or more than 500 still images; in memory of our Tree………….

I have included a few images showing the actions and aftermath.
